Orissa Waste Management Project (OWMP), Mangalpur, Dist. Jajpur belongs to Re Sustainability Limited and started its operations in October 2006 as a world class Treatment, Storage, Disposal Facility (CBMWTF & CHW-TSDF) to manage Hazardous & Bio Medical waste disposal. The project was awarded by Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (OIIDCO) to Re Sustainability Limited through global tendering and is set up on an area of about 47 acres.

The facility has Temporary waste stores, ETP, Secured landfill, Autoclave, Shredder, Stabilization/treatment facility and an Incinerator with 100% power backup facilities.

Transportation of Hazardous & Bio Medical Waste is arranged by OWMP with the help of specially designed vehicles.

The facility is equipped with a Hi-Tech laboratory enabling comprehensive analysis of solid waste, water and wastewater. It is well equipped with all sophisticated instruments required for the analysis prescribed by governing authorities. The laboratory monitors periodically the ground water, surface water, air, noise, soil and stack emissions within its premises.
